How I Scored a 180 on the LSAT

Friday, November 16th, 2007

By Kelli Miguez One of the most important steps to getting a high LSAT score happens before you ever open a book to begin studying. The test date you choose can have a significant impact on how high you score. To understand the importance, you should know that all LSAT scores are sent to the law schools to which you are applying. This means that law schools will see every LSAT score you have taken, your best, your worst, and everything in between. Due to this score reporting, it is advisable you only take the LSAT once, and make your one score count. The best time to take the LSAT is the June before your senior year. Taking the test in June means that you are far along enough in your studies, yet you still have plenty of time to apply, and you get the advantage of taking the test during the summer, when you are on a break from school. While the October test date is still early enough to apply for law school, it also falls around the time of midterms, and you could find yourself stressed and ill-prepared to take the LSAT in the middle of the school semester when so many exams and papers are taking up your time. Take your first practice test long before you take the LSAT. Three to six months before June, schedule a saturday where you will wake up early, sit down at your desk, and take a practice test under the exact same conditions as the real LSAT. Buy a small, cheap, kitchen timer from the store and set each section’s time exactly. Only allow yourself the allotted time, and don’t stop or get distracted. You can easily download practice test online, or buy books with multiple tests. This first practice test will help you see what score you would make with no studying, and thereby tell you how hard you need to study to get the score you want. Most importantly, this test will tell you which section you need the most work on. More than likely you will not have an infinite amount of time to study for the LSAT, so you need to use your time effectively and spend the most time on the sections you score the lowest on. The national average LSAT score is 150, so you want to strive for over 150. Use the data from your first practice test and take more practice tests. If your worst score was in Analytical Reasoning, take that section of practice tests many times. As you complete each practice test you will learn how the questions are structured so that you can answer them faster. You will also start to understand how the tests are scored, so you will learn which answers are correct. Additionally, you will become familiar with the test so that on test day, you are confident and calm. Continue taking individual sections as practice tests until you are happy with the score. Remember that the LSAT is not about memorizing facts. Therefore, you don’t need to study books or notes. The LSAT tests your thinking skills. The best way to improve these skills is with practice. The final step in achieving the LSAT score of your dreams is in understanding the scoring of the test. Each test has approximately 101 questions. Your score is based on the number of questions you answer correctly. This means you are not penalized for guessing. You should answer every question, even if you don’t know the answer. Always make an educated guess if you don’t know the answer. This also means every question is given the same weight. If one question has you stumped, circle it and move on. When you are done, go back to the questions you have circled and try to answer the questions that will require the least amount of time first. Kelli runs the LSAT Test Preparation Center where you can find all the information you need to get a high LSAT score. Start your studying with an official LSAT practice test. Christian Couple Game - Increasing Intimacy

Thursday, November 15th, 2007

By Chess McDoogle One huge advantage of being a Christian is the ability to engage in a type of heart felt intimacy on a incredibly deep level with another, which most people do not experience. Many Christian couples have been steadfast in there commitment to avoid serious levels of intimacy until they have found the right individual. So when love making does occur the intimacy is so fresh and new that this translates into an incredibly strong and amazingly long form of bonding that the couple shares for the rest of their lives. Hence the couple is more apt to have fun, explore, and learn more. One great way to explore is by engaging in a Christian couple game. A Christian couple game serves to not only celebrate the fun and intimacy of being with one another. It also serves to celebrate the Christian religion, which has brought the couple together in the first place. While engaging in a Christian couple game attention is always focused first in prayer and celebration of God; this serves to only strengthen the fun and excitement to come. Anytime one acknowledges appreciation of why they are here and how they got here, it automatically enhances whatever activity they do that follows. When engaging in a Christian couple game following your prayer session, this not only will bring strengthening qualities, but it will also relinquish from the both of you, any subconscious guilt couples may have while engaging in healthy intercourse, which may be the arrival point in a Christian couple game. It can sometimes be an ingrained issue that can spring up in the back of the minds of Christian couples who may feel wrong or unsure if their Christian couple game is really in sync with their religious practice. Prayer and celebration beforehand releases these thoughts unto God, by simply acknowledging that, “in celebration of our love we will practice and praise in fun, exciting ways, which will only serve to strengthen the bond between the both of us, and our togetherness bond with God and Christianity.” This is a great addition to the pre-prayer session of any Christian couple game. Christian couples are unique with one another and shouldn’t have a problem thinking up fun and exciting ways to create a Christian couple game. Ideas can range from role playing or symbolizing strong figures both can relate too, making up ones own card games or changing the rules on existing board games (let’s say if one passes go they not only collect 200 dollars but also receive strong affection from their Christian mate!) There are many ideas to run with when coming up with a Christian couple game. The key is always prayer and praise beforehand and a small appreciation prayer after, which both serve to enhance and strengthen your unique, fun, and exciting, Christian couple game! Marriage Advice: Seven Marriage Myths You Can’t Afford to Ignore

Thursday, November 15th, 2007

By Nancy Wasson If youre like most people, you probably entered into marriage with a number of unchallenged assumptions in place. These assumptions may have been about what marriage is and entails, about love, or about your spouse. While you may have already bumped into reality concerning some of your assumptions, you still may be operating with others firmly in place. Why should you be concerned if this is the case? Because what you arent aware of can blindside you down the marital road, thats why. Life throws in enough surprises on its own, so you dont want to be caught off guard unnecessarily. The following misguided assumptions can get you into trouble in your marriage. Review them for a quick reality check: 1. You should always feel loving toward your spouse. Its not realistic to think that youll always have loving feelings toward your spouse. There are occasions when Lee and I are upset with each other and we dont like each other very much. We may have to make an effort to remind ourselves of the other persons positive traits. At those times, we know that underneath all of our upset feelings we still love each other, but the predominant feelings were experiencing are anger and hurt. And its difficult to feel loving when youre frustrated, feeling resentful, or harboring anger toward your spouse. Thats when its vitally important to clear the air as soon as possible so you can be in harmony with your spouse and get those loving feelings back. 2. Love should consistently feel the same way. Feelings vary in intensity over time. Its just not possible to experience forever the ecstatic feelings that can be there when a relationship is new and youve just fallen in love. At that time, every sensation is ultra intense and heightened. But the feelings associated with the initial or honeymoon period of every relationship eventually change. Love deepens and grows in different ways. Of course, there are still wonderful highs, but there are other feelings in the cycle of love that you also experiencea rhythmic waning and waxing of desire, the enjoyment of companionship, and the comfortableness of knowing someone well and sharing a history together. Love has many faces and produces a variety of feelings during a marriage. 3. Your spouse should just know what you need without you having to tell him or her. Its not unusual to feel that if your spouse really loved you, he or she would somehow be aware of your needs and desires without having to ask you. But in reality, most of us do rather poorly when we try to second guess someone else or try to read their mind. This particular assumption leads to many hurt feelings in a marriage. He should have known that I wouldnt want to celebrate my birthday with his family. Or She should have known that all I wanted from her was a little understanding and sympathy. When this happens, spouses often erroneously conclude that their spouse must not love them or they would have been more tuned in to their wishes and needs. But the responsibility to let your spouse know what you need and want ultimately rests on you. Give your partner feedback and clues so he or she can have the information needed to make different choices. 4. If you really love each other, keeping a loving relationship shouldnt take much work. Ive heard this or statements similar to this numerous times. But the sobering reality is that relationships always take a lot of work. Its a challenge to keep the communication channels clear of debris and residue from disagreements. It takes time and effort to follow up by checking with the other person to be sure that things arent building up under the surface and that everything is truly okay now. This process can be compared to housecleaning. You can clean the house one week, but by the next week it needs cleaning again. Its a constant cyclethe same is true in a marriage relationship. What you ignore doesnt just go away; it stays right where it is, waiting for more dust or debris to collect on top of it. 5. Being married lets you off the hook in the romance department and sets you up in the sex department. This assumption has tripped many spouses up. As a counselor, many times Ive heard the statement, But I thought now that were married, I didnt have to do all of that romantic stuff I used to do. Often this is said when the marriage problems are already serious and the marriage is in crisis. It just makes good sense to take the offensive and make the effort to find ways to be romantic throughout your marriage. If you do, youll be accumulating those good will bank deposits or brownie points that Lee likes to talk about. And as for thinking that marriage assures you of unlimited great sex without any extra effort on your part, thats a fantasy. Emotional intimacy sets the stage for great sex and depends on good communication, plus a host of other qualities such as sensitivity and empathy, all of which take work. 6. Your spouse will speak up and tell you if he or she is unhappy in the marriage. This is an assumption which has been the undoing of many marriages. The reality is that numerous spouses are uncomfortable with anger and are afraid that expressing it will damage the relationship. So they try to bury their feelings and pretend that everything is okay. It pays to be observant and pay attention to your spouses tone of voice and non-verbal communication. It also pays to learn to disagree without attacking each other and to be respectful even when you dont understand how your spouse could possibly have such odd ideas. When you create a safe environment for discussing your real feelings, you increase the likelihood that your spouse will gain the courage to share from the heart with you. You can help this process by taking the lead in making yourself vulnerable by sharing your real feelings in a respectful way. 7. The commitment expressed in your wedding vows is enough to sustain your relationship. The commitment you made to your spouse and marriage on your wedding day was certainly importantand it counts for a lot. But its not enough. Its all-too-easy to treat the marriage commitment as a one-time thing, when the reality is that a satisfying, healthy relationship requires daily commitmentover and over again, day by day. Its similar to what individuals do who are successful in 12-step programs for sobrietythey recommit to their sobriety each day. The recovering alcoholic may say, Just for today, Im sober, with Gods help. The spouse with a successful marriage makes a daily commitment, also, even if its unspokenToday I will honor my marriage and be the best supportive partner I can be. Its that level of daily dedication and commitment that makes the difference in marriages that make it and those that dont. Nancy J. Prevent Mobile Phone Crime

Wednesday, November 14th, 2007

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Simon_Burgess]Simon Burgess Your mobile is likely to be a sophisticated piece of equipment which is increasingly more like a computer. It is also likely to be worth a lot of money. In most cases mobiles are obtained on a contract from 12 to 24 months and are usually provided at no additional cost. You may not realise quite how much your phone does cost until you lose it or it’s stolen and you want to replace it with a similar model. So mobiles are worth a lot of money. This makes them attractive to potential thieves who will use credit on your phone to make calls — perhaps to premium rate lines or pay for goods. They may decide to sell it on at a far cheaper price than its worth. They don’t care because they didn’t pay for it in the first place. The important thing to understand is that mobiles are attractive to criminals because they see it as easy pickings. This is particularly the case for children and statistically children are far more likely to suffer from mobile phone crime than adults are. Children are also more likely to suffer acts of violence or verbal threats during a robbery. How Can I Reduce The Risk of Being Targeted? You need to reduce the likelihood that a criminal will target you specifically. A thief will always go for the easy option. If you make yourself less attractive to the thief by following these steps then it’s far more likely they will leave you alone and look elsewhere. Mobile phone crime tends to happen at night, in the dark and in city centres. Often robberies occur whilst a person is using their phone or texting. Personal Safety Be vigilant. Know what’s going on around you. Try not to use your phone if you can help it in higher risk areas. If you do use it, make the calls short and don’t get into a long conversation which could make you less aware of what’s going on around you. It will also draw attention to an attacker that you have a mobile. Keep your phone hidden don’t make it visible by keeping on a belt. Don’t draw attention to yourself by showing it off. Switch the phone into vibrate mode so it doesn’t draw attention when it goes off. Try and keep to well lit areas where there are other people around but also be wary in crowds where the phone could be snatched from you. * Travel with a friend at night if possible. * Don’t leave your phone unattended — in a car for example. * When you are travelling at night or in a higher risk area, don’t use your personal stereo/iPod as this will reduce your awareness of who is around you. * Look like you know where you’re going. Look confident and stand tall. A robber is looking for weakness in their victim and this will deter them. * Treat your phone as if it were cash. If you have a lot of money on you the last thing you want to do is to wave it around and draw attention to yourself. If you are the victim of a robbery then consider just letting your assailant have what they want. You are perfectly within your rights to defend yourself with whatever objects you normally carry with you (like car keys or a brush) but remember your attacker may take them and use against you. It is illegal to carry a weapon even if you use it to defend yourself. At the end of the day you have to ask yourself if it’s worth trying to prevent a thief from taking your phone. It’s your decision, but it could mean the difference between being seriously hurt and not being harmed. You may want to think beforehand how you would react because if it did happen you might not have the time to think. Other Advice As well as you personal safety, there are a few other things you can do which may help you get your phone back if it were stolen. At the very least these measures will make it harder for someone who gets your phone from using it. It could also protect personal data held on your phone and it will help reduce mobile phone crime overall. Use the pin number on your phone to lock it. This will ensure that someone who takes your phone can’t easily use your sim and get access to the personal data held on it or run up huge bills which you will be liable for. Type in the code *#06#. This is the IMEI number and is a unique serial number which can’t be changed. Keep a record of the number and report it to your phone company or the police if it’s stolen. * If your phone gets stolen, report it to the police and your phone company as quickly as possible. Your phone company will block the phone for any network. * Register your IMEI number with the Mobile Equipment National Database or MEND. This can be easily done online by visiting www.immobilise.com. It’s a free service and you can also use it to register other valuables which you own. If the police recover your phone they can trace it back to you using the IMEI database. * www.checkmend.com can be used to check if a particular phone has been lost or stolen. This serves as a good check if you acquire a used phone to make sure it’s legitimate. Although personal attacks are rare, mobile phone theft is on the increase and if you value your phone then you should heed the advice. You don’t have to change your lifestyle to take these on board; it’s just a case of being sensible and aware of what’s going on around you. At the end of the day there may be little you can do to stop a determined thief. If someone wants something bad enough, for what ever reason, they may do anything to get it from you. You can use all the precautions you want but someone who is determined enough will get what they want and you would be unwise to tackle them particularly if there is a gang. Your personal well being is far more important than a wallet or a mobile. If it means you being unhurt then its far better to let the thief have what they want. There’s no disgrace in taking this approach. It takes a brave person to do this because one’s natural reaction is to prevent someone taking what belongs to you. What Else Can I do? So what happens if your phone were stolen what else could you do? There is something you can do and it will give you peace of mind about the cost of replacing it. By insuring your phone you can avoid the worry of having to spend a lot of money to replace your old phone should it be stolen. The insurance has a cheap monthly premium and will cover you for other risks like accidental damage or loss. It also comes with a reward of a no claims bonus in the form of a replacement battery after twelve months with no claim. The policy does not force you to take out a 12 month contract ‘ you can terminate it at any time by giving one months notice. Cover also includes water damage which means you’re covered even if you accidentally left your phone in the washing machine or it was dropped in a drink for instance. You’re also covered abroad and when other family members use the phone. You pay by direct debit on a monthly basis but cover can be arranged immediately by making an initial payment by card. For more information, visit [http://www.cover4phones.co.uk ]www.cover4phones.co.uk. Don’t wait until it’s too late! Remember Be vigilant and be aware of your surroundings. You can significantly reduce your chances of being targeted for your mobile by following this advice. The Topic of Patentability

Monday, November 12th, 2007

By Lisa Parmley For an object or idea to be patentable, it must fit into one of the following four categories; process, manufacture, machine or composition of matter. The subject matter must also be original, an unmodified, previously existing invention is never patentable. There must be a significant improvement over previous inventions for the new one to qualify. If two previous inventions are combined together, the combination must yield new and unexpected results for the invention to be considered patentable. In addition, an invention must be useful and must actually work in order for it to be patentable. A useful invention is one in which the object already has a utility without anyone having to pursue further research to identify or reasonably confirm the utility. So, if youve invented a nifty little widget or doodad, but havent got a clue as to what it could be used for, the PTO isnt going to be impressed and isnt likely to grant your patent. On the bright side, if an invention does not accomplish all of its intended functions or it only has partial success, it may still be patentable. In the case of newly developed drugs, the claimed invention only needs to treat a single symptom of an incurable disease for it to have usefulness. The Patent Office isn’t as strict on drugs and treatments (that’s where the Food and Drug Administration come in). The PTO has established that laws or forces of nature are not deemed patentable. Examples of these include, but are not limited to, the law of gravity or E=mc2. Computer related inventions may or may not be patentable. Computer programs that have a function when used with a computer are definitely patentable subject matter. Merely recording information (like music, literary works or data) on a computer-readable medium will not result in a patentable idea. Natural Colon Cleansing

Sunday, November 11th, 2007

By JP Richardson There are many different ways that someone can accomplish a thorough and all natural colon cleansing. Some of these involve uncomfortable procedures or expensive equipment. However, there are other methods and options that you can pursue instead of the regular ones. Learn about the process of natural colon cleansing, and see if it is something that you would like to look into further. To understand what natural colon cleansing is, you first must understand what unnatural processes there are. The most popular is when the patient has his colon drained by injecting large amounts of water and allowing it to exit. It carries large amounts of waste with it. There are also people who decide to undergo oxygen treatment, which causes all of the waste to be broken down by the chemicals which are used. So why would you want to stick with natural colon cleansing instead of some of these other more popular and widely proven methods? Firstly, the other ones are slightly more intrusive and possibly damaging to the colon. When you pump it full of water you don’t necessarily exceed the capacity of the colon, but it is likely that you could sustain some negative effects. With natural colon cleansing methods, you will do completely normal things to your colon. But in this case, you will adjust them slightly in order to perform the colon cleansing that you want. You will not be doing anything to your body that you wouldn’t usually do. The key is to figure out your own body in order to maximize the effort and get the cleanest colon possible. The exact route that someone would take depends entirely on what they are trying to accomplish. If you have a serious problem with constipation, you will take a different approach when figuring out your natural colon cleansing diet. The same goes if you are trying to cure diarrhea. You will have to look for colon cleansing recipes that are very specific for your objectives. The first way to do natural colon cleansing is to adjust your diet. If you can successfully alter the amount of fiber that you take in, your bowels will see a change as well. You can find numerous recipes that are designed to either cleanse your bowels completely, or make long-term changes to strive for a healthier colon. You can find these recipes on the internet or in special cookbooks. It is also very popular to use herbal supplements that you can buy on the internet for a specific objective. The directions will be very specific, and probably require you to take the pills several times a day. As long as you stick with the pill regimen, your problems will be cured in no time. You will simply have to choose the natural colon cleansing treatment that is right for you, and stick with it. Hoodia 57 Diet Pills Reviewed

Saturday, November 10th, 2007

By Cameron Pascoal Every now and then a product comes along that I really need to dedicate some attention to. Now, I’ve been known to sample a few “weight loss” related products, but this one really grabbed my attention when I tried it, and that’s why I’m talking about it now. I’m fairly skeptical when it comes to “wonder drugs” and “miracle cures”. After all, how many websites are there that claim to be able to teach you how to make money online? The end result is usually the same: you’ve spent money on a product that doesn’t work, or, doesn’t work well. When I started taking Hoodia 57, however, I knew that I had a winner. This pill, like many others, is able to effectively control your appetite and, as a result, reduce the amount of calories that you consume every day. Sound like a familiar concept? It should, because it’s not exactly a new idea. What makes Hoodia 57 different, however, is how it is actually able to do all of this without me having to experience any side effects or undesired results. Enough Talk… How Did It Do? On the business side of things I can honestly say that Hoodia57 performed quite well. My appetite was about half of what it normally was and I found myself craving snacks much less. Though my appetite wasn’t completely eliminated, there was a definite and noticeable difference between no pill and being on Hoodia 57. Hoodia 57 claims to have little to no side effects and my experience definitely reinforces this claim- I didn’t experience anything big or small, not even the usual dry mouth that most people get from Hoodia products. I don’t have any complaints worth mentioning, but considering that you’ll probably want to know them before you opt to try Hoodia 57, here they are (in order of importance): The bottle is too regular, and I often confused it for Aspirin. I wished that the bottle was maybe a different color or shape but, then again, changing the design of the bottle would make it look less official… I suppose. I had to wait a bit longer than I wanted for it to be shipped. Even though this has nothing to do with the product itself, I did have to wait a day longer than I was quoted. The pill left a funky taste in my mouth if I didn’t swallow it right away. I get this same feeling when I leave Advil in my mouth for too long, and though it’s not a “bad” taste it definitely isn’t a good one. Conclusion Overall, I’m very happy with the performance and the quality of Hoodia 57. I would definitely order this product again, and I would recommend Hoodia 57 to others as well. I experienced few symptoms (if any that I can actually attribute to Hoodia 57), and I wound up losing 11 pounds during my test period without really trying. A nice product, and definitely a nice conclusion. Highly recommended. Did I enjoy Phentramin? You betcha, and I’m not ashamed to recommend it to others! But please, take my review with a grain of salt and check out customer-submitted diet pill reviews to help you save money and find a diet pill that actually works. Cedar Chest│Hope Chest│Chest of Dreams

Thursday, November 8th, 2007

By LaJoyce Kerns I’d like to see hope chests become popular again, not in the marriage/dowry connection necessarily, but as a symbol of saving for the future and preserving the past. I remember my mother’s cedar chest with its distinctive aroma when I’d open the lid. Old baby clothes, my very first doll, pictures, embroidered tea towels (does anyone use embroidered tea towels any more?), things that were important to her and therefore meaningful to me. A family treasure chest. Now so often our important memories are stored in plastic boxes. Nothing wrong with plastic storage boxes, understand, but your grandmother’s favorite quilt deserves better, don’t you think? A Hope Chest is simply a wooden chest or box, a storage unit full of items that have been gathered, perhaps for future use, maybe just as memories. Make the Hope Chest out of cedar and you have a cedar chest. Fill it with memorable items and you have a chest of dreams. Thought of like that, a hope chest is rather like a large wooden scrapbook. My daughter creates wonderful scrapbooks for my grandson. He calls them, “The books about me.” She saves the most minute items for inclusion in his books, and he’s always bringing things to her “for my scrapbook, Mama.” My mother did the same for us, but she saved the pieces of our lives in her cedar chest. Several times a year we’d coax her into unlocking that mysterious chest that always sat in her bedroom. She’d take the items out one by one and tell us the story of how it came to be in the cedar chest. Much of the treasure of the chest had to do with memories of the past kept alive by our interest in the stories that accompanied them. But other items were more of the hope chest/dowry type. My mother loved to embroider (hence the embroidered tea towels), so she made embroidered pillow cases and dresser scarfs (please tell me you know what those are!) and saved them carefully for use in our future homes. And I have a suspicion that the chest with its handy lock was the receptacle of our Christmas gifts that were bought or made in the months before Christmas. It occurs to me now that a slight aroma of cedar was always part of the smell of Christmas at home. It’s good, the popular interest in scrapbooking to save memories. I wish, however, that the tradition of giving a cedar chest to a young person - boy or girl, young man or young woman- to commemorate an important event or birthday would revive. It’s difficult to scrapbook a wooden Bible box or a metal Tonka truck or a packet of hand-written recipes. But they will all fit comfortably in a cedar chest. Sacred Love - Healing a Broken Heart; Part 2

Tuesday, November 6th, 2007

By Christopher Walker I go to great pains to differentiate between love and ego. Love being defined as stillness, a mindless experience. Expectations being the mark of the ego, which includes all your thoughts, experiences, beliefs and desires. These expectations become hard to question, because they are the teachings of very important institutions. We empower institutional religions because it is hard to be original, it is hard to think for ourselves. Very often, priests will claim they have the knowledge that is passed down from God. This is a really confusing thing as everybody has a different teaching, and therefore a different God. Really, the love of God, creator, was born in every heart ,and the ego twists it into laws and rules. A broken heart cannot exist unless you are withholding love. This can be confusing because how can you love someone who hurt you, broke your trust? But you need to see these as two separate things. One is love, what is hurting you, holding it back. The other is your pain, which is caused by the assault on your expectations. There is a big difference between pain and suffering. Pain is when you cut your hand. You dont worry about your hand if you know it will get better. Suffering is when youre not sure that it will heal, and you worry about what is going to happen. If you block the love, then there is suffering. If you deal with the assault on your expectations then there is pain, and with the right treatment, you know it will get better. That is the difference. The suffering person is holding back love. The person in pain, is not holding back love, but is dealing with an injury to their ego. Now this is of vital importance if you are truly wanting to fall in love again. The person who is holding back love for one person in the past, cannot fully release it to another, because they are afraid of that suffering. So they remain broken hearted, but try to get on with their lives. This just doesnt work, and is made 200% worse if there is forgiveness. What you judge you breed in a child, attract in a partner, or become. So the past haunts us, as we have said before. If you cant love the past, then you are simply running away from a person, while carrying all the baggage. So, there are two issues. One is to love the person who hurt you. You loved them before, so you can love them now. And the second issue is to deal with the pain, or shattered expectation (emotions). So, emotionally at least, we must learn how to heal wounds and become innocent, to surrender all the fears, ambitions, paranoia and phobias that we have accumulated in order to truly become present and fall in love again. Whatever your situation in life, love must feature in the formation of your world. This love should be as fresh, free, and as far-reaching as the morning breeze. It must be warmed by the sunshine so that your life can be warmed by the celebration of love. The person who hurt you most is no doubt the person you love most, so the greatest suffering, and the greatest pain, are often in the one circumstance. Your ego will explain a thousand reasons why you shouldnt love them. But you do. Admit that, cry, fall, surrender to it. There is no need to act, love is not an action, it is a lack of action, love is the void, there is just sunshine. You felt it before, and you can feel it now. There is no need to possess the object of your love. In fact, to love is to let go. Truly, the end result of true love is to wish that person happiness, whether you are there or not. Finally, you must know the sunshine that is love does not come to you. This is not about wining a lover back. No, you are the sun. The sunshine of love comes from you. This is the final confusion. We wait to find love, to share love, to celebrate love, to be in love. But we are screwed because love does not come to you, it comes from you. You cannot be loved. You can only love. So, when you are in suffering you have stopped loving, and their love has nothing to do with it. Only your ego is stopping you. Yes, the one who hurt you is the one you must love in order to rise above that ego, because the most hurt is where your ego is most constructed. Shatter it. I dare you. Shatter your ego and see how much love you have. There is the sunshine, there is your life. Chris Walker is a world leading change agent, an environmentalist and author of more than 20 books.
